2 years ago, I found my menstrual cycle changing dramatically! I was no longer regular and pain-free. I now found myself with frustrated with flooding, anxiety, insomnia, PMS, fibroids, anaemia and heightened stress. I was suddenly (it seemed) dealing with a new reality that wasn’t getting any better, in fact, it was getting worse. I had to find solutions, I had to get answers as to why this was happening so I could heal.
I had to confront my current lifestyle choices and make some tough decisions.
What I learnt was that I had forgotten all about my own self-care, I had no downtime, I was go-go-go all the time, I was pleasing others before pleasing myself and pushing myself further and further each day.
I had to learn to ask for help, I had to learn, and ask for, the testing I needed to get done in order to get a diagnosis I could work with. I learnt what foods were healing, what foods were hurting, how to sleep properly and what supplements I needed to get started on my wellness path and I start a new journey.
I found the solution, I found ways to nurture myself, and my body, back to balance, I learnt to love sleep again and find balance in every day.
In the last year and a half, I have been helping women just like you balance their hormones, reduce their stress, fall in love with sleep again and live a life they love, that’s why I am an expert in sleep and hormone balancing.
As an expert in sleep and hormones, I am a bit like a big sister, helping women discover, step by step, the road to balance and self-love with a loving and caring hand to hold along the way, and a shoulder to cry on when needed. This is an emotional journey we take into perimenopause.
When people come to work with me this is what happens, they start to tune into their bodies again, they start to listen and see the signs of imbalance and discover ways to nurture themselves first.
